A Fire Ignited: Central Clinches First Victory of the Season

The Panthers fourth game of the regular season ends in a triumphant victory against Crescent Valley, improving their record to 1-3.

Leading at the half 14-12, the Panthers persevered during the 3rd and 4th quarters and put up a score of 27 while holding the Raiders to a close score of 26. This is the first win for the Panthers this season— a victory to celebrate for sure!

Everyone loves an underdog story, and one could be playing out now.

With a win on the table, the Panthers can now focus on kindling this flame of success.

Despite facing initial setbacks with prior losses, the team is carrying the energy of a victory ahead as they finish out the regular season with five more games. While it might not be the primary goal, this win now puts Central on the table for a playoff spot. Postseason could be within reach if the Panthers continue the win streak through the regular season.

The Central Panthers play the West Albany Bulldogs this coming Friday. The game stands as a pivotal moment for the Panthers, a chance to continue the rewrite of their season narrative and showcase their true potential that we have seen glimpses of so far this season.

The game will start at 7:00 PM, Friday the 29th, at West Albany’s field. We hope to see you there. Go Panthers!
