Soccer’s Alumni Game: Back in Action

The Boys Soccer team held their second annual alumni game fundraiser this past Friday, the 22nd.
Recent Central alums such as Jack Burgett and Saul Esquivel participated on the red team, while the Central coaches Jose Becerra, Israel Avila, and Gerarado Gariby participated on the green team. The individuals named were joined by a number of other alumni as well. The game ended with a score of 6-6, with the red team winning by penalties.
With the addition of regular concessions, the soccer team was also selling old jerseys and sweatshirts to raise money for the future. With combined efforts, they were able to fundraise over $250 for their program.
